During my Christmas stay, I enjoyed the fact that there were options for breakfast in close proximity to the hotel. the hotel's central location made it easy to access transportation. The room was also clean and comfortable, with a lovely balcony to enjoy.

Room service was not available and there were limited options for complementary tea and coffee. the check-out process was slightly inconvenient.

My recent stay at The General Gordon was fantastic! The soundproofing in the room was amazing; I couldn't hear any noise from the bar, cafes, or even the planes overhead. The bed was super comfortable, the food from the bistro downstairs was delicious, and the location was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I loved the modern room. I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay.

This hotel had the perfect location, with the train station right across the road making it very easy to get around this city. The hotel facilities were great, with a modern dining area and sports bar in the pub downstairs. The cleanliness of the hotel was spot on, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Loved the soundproofing! Could hardly hear any noise from the nearby cafes, train station, or planes overhead. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the bar staff was lovely. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk to the train station, making it easy to explore the city. Plus, the bar had a great selection of beverages.

It's not a full-service hotel, so don't expect a front desk or extra assistance outside regular business hours. Luggage storage wasn't an option, so it's better for self-sufficient travelers.

Despite being directly across the road from the train station, there were no noise complaints from train or aircrafts. The food served in the pub was excellent. It was easy to access downtown Sydney and the airport via train.
